Lighting
Do you want to learn how to use studio lighting? Do you want to learn how to light on location?
Jayce Clarke Photography has devised a full day workshop dedicated to lighting. The course is designed for both amateur/beginners and intermediates. Jayce, encourages all delegates to shoot and most of the course is all about putting the theory into practice.
The day will be a mixture of practical demonstration, hands on shooting, and notes. Places are limited to give value for money to the delegates who join us, so book early to avoid disappointed.
What will I learn?
Due to the uncertainty of the weather the workshop will be held inside, however the techniques can still be transfered into location or studio use. The modules are:
Studio Lighting
Portable/Location Lighting (Generally known as speedlights/flash).
Various lighing styles/techniques
Light modifers
Diffuse/reflector techniques.
Model etiquette.
The lighting workshop is based on an eight hour course. Most of this time will be spent hands on shooting by the delegates so please bring your camera and equipment that you wish to use. *No studio lights are needed on this course, but if there is a piece of equipment the you want to ask advice on, or to try out thats fine.
Itinerary:
Hour 1 to 2.5 – Introduction, Practical demonstration.
Hour 2.5 to 3 – Lunch (A buffet style lunch is provided, if you have any special dietary needs, please contact us A.S.A.P.).
Hour 3 to 8 – Hands on shooting (A model is provided so that all material can be put into practice).
